Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and BulletPrep LLC ("we", "us") about Dooboo ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Your account
The app makes an account for you when you first open it, and you can sign in with Apple or Google to keep your progress across phones. You're responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete it any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.
AI in the app
Your cat, the people you talk with, lessons, explanations and corrections are made by AI as you use the app. AI can be wrong: a translation can be off, a correction can miss, and a reply can be unexpected. The app is for learning and practice; don't rely on it for anything important (medical, legal, travel safety or the like). Your cat is an AI character, not a person.
What you put in
Your answers, journal, notes and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Please don't use the app to:
- break the law or anyone's rights;
- try to make the AI produce harmful, hateful or sexual content;
- attack, overload, reverse engineer or copy the app, or reach our services other than through the app;
- resell or redistribute the app or what it makes.
Watch together is for helping you understand shows you're watching for your own learning. You're responsible for following the terms of the services you watch on.
Subscriptions
The app is free to use. Dooboo Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, sold by the year or by the month. The plans, prices and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, and those are what apply.
- Payment: your Apple ID is charged when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Renewal: a subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trials: a trial is for people who haven't had one for this app, as Apple allows. It turns into a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. If you buy a subscription during a trial, what's left of the trial is forfeited.
- Managing it: cancel or change your plan any time in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription.
- Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds go through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
Premium's features and the free allowances can change, as the rest of the app can.
Our app
We own the app and its content (lessons, art, characters, code). We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use it on devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, these terms apply, except where Apple's terms say otherwise.
Feedback and ideas you send us can be used to improve the app, without owing you anything for them.
We change the app often. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, and that AI output will be accurate.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost data, profits or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and isn't responsible for any claims about the app (product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property). If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm you aren't in a country under a US government embargo or on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app; continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Sacramento County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them where you live.
